Summary
In June 2021, Beaver Island residents discussed whether customers starting TDS DSL could purchase a compatible modem instead of paying a monthly rental. In October, another user reported severe, unstable TDS performance during a Zoom meeting, with very low personal speed-test results. The forum therefore preserves both an equipment/affordability concern and a later service-quality complaint, without provider confirmation of either.
