WVBI reported the November 8, 2016 Beaver Island township election results using information supplied by township clerks and linked official Charlevoix County result PDFs. In Peaine, Bill Kohls reportedly defeated Doug Tilly 117–110 for supervisor. In St. James, Kitty McNamara defeated incumbent Bill Haggard 150–78 for supervisor, and Alice Belfy defeated write-in candidate Dawn Marsh 131–81 for clerk.
