Between January 27 and 30, 2019, Beaver Island Forum participants reported two tugs moving or sheltering near the island during severe winter weather. A later post quoted Boatnerd as identifying the vessels as Bradshaw McKee and Barbara Andrie, with Bradshaw McKee towing the cement barge Commander.
Evidence limits
This record preserves a contemporaneous local observation and a quoted maritime report. It is not an official vessel track, weather record, or complete account of why the vessels remained in the area.
