Summary
A spotted fawn once kept in a pen at the Yacht Dock was reported in April 1965 as a large, tame deer called “Yogie.” The Beaver Beacon says it spent time at Circle M Lodge and with the Dominican Sisters, preferring people and receiving food handouts rather than returning to the woods.
