  1. The opening post says an unnamed young man who died at Notre Dame had spent every summer since 1991 on Beaver Island. A November 1 follow-up quotes family friend Marta Kohne referring to Declan, Allison, his sisters, the wake, funeral, and local prayer. The thread does not preserve a death certificate, obituary, cause of death, exact location, or complete family identification.

  2. The notice identifies Declan Jamieson Boyd Cady as Dean and Jodie Cady's son and records the Beaver Island summer connection of his grandparents. This corroborates the identity link but does not independently document the 2010 death.
