Summary
The March 1964 Beaver Beacon’s “Beaver Tales” recounts that Peter Boyle brought a new 1921 Model T Ford to Beaver Island. The story says the car first went through the barn, then later stopped against a tree near the family farm, and that Boyle afterwards drove it around the island.
Evidence and limits
This is a retrospective local-history anecdote. It does not provide a vehicle serial number, purchase record, exact route, or independent 1921 corroboration.
