Summary
The April 1975 Beaver Beacon reports that the St. James Township Board agreed to make a property parcel available for a proposed Bicentennial Heritage Park. A 99-year lease was being arranged, conditioned on development within five years. The July issue later reports a completed Township–Historical Society land transaction and a planned sign for Mabel and A. J. Roy Heritage Park; that completion-stage report is held in a separate event.
Evidence and limits
This article preserves the April proposal-stage evidence. The July completion report does not supply the executed instrument, surveyed parcel, completed park, relocation, restoration, or proof that the sign was erected.

It locates the property north of Donegal Bay Road, near the King’s Highway and within walking distance of the Museum, and describes hoped-for fencing, relocated log buildings, restoration, and artifacts.
