Summary

The July 1975 Beaver Beacon reports that St. James Township completed a transaction with the Beaver Island Historical Society to lease land for a Heritage Park. It says a sign would soon identify the location as Mabel and A. J. Roy Heritage Park.

Evidence and limits

This is a completion report for the transaction, not the executed lease, surveyed parcel, construction record, or proof that the sign was erected. It supersedes the April report’s proposal-stage status only for the reported transaction, not for every planned park improvement.
