Dance. 9:00 p.m. at the Parish Hall. No musicians are named.
Prizes. A basket won by Bruce Anderson; a harbor oil painting won by Joyce McCafferty of Ashtabula, Ohio; a Shamrock Quilt made by the Holy Cross Altar Society, won by Mr. Milligan of Charlevoix; and a child’s bicycle donated by Alice Kay Lockton, won by Karl Crawford.

Evidence limits
Two calendar notices printed months apart disagree on the date — the May issue gives August 14 (a Monday that year), the June issue gives August 13 (a Sunday). The August and September event coverage is silent on the exact weekday, but August 13 matches the “second Sunday in August” rule described in the Homecoming hub article, so it is used here; the May date is recorded as an inconsistency rather than discarded. No source explicitly labels the parish or the Altar Society as “sponsor” of the 1967 Homecoming in so many words — the attribution here rests on the proceeds going to Holy Cross Church and its Convent Fund, which is the strongest evidence available for this year.

- Was Ed Wojan associated with any Homecoming committee before or after 1967? No other year’s held source names him.
