Summary
In May 2015, a forum report said that several Lake Geneserath landowners had observed a large carp die-off. The report, attributed to discussion at a Beaver Island Wildlife Club meeting, counted at least fourteen dead carp and said that a Michigan Department of Natural Resources fisheries biologist had asked for specimens if the mortality was abnormally large.
