Summary
The January 1957 Beaver Beacon reported a $50 donation from Leo Loew and equipment added through recent Medical Center donations, including a refrigerator, baby scale, desk lamps, office furniture, a bookcase, and a bedside table. The August issue reported that the baby department benefited from a donation left by the wife of Dr. Robert Rose after a July 16 visit to the Port of St. James. The Christmas issue reported a separate $500 contribution from D. J. Angus. The January 1959 issue reports another $500 Angus gift and describes his total contributions as the largest, without supplying receipts or accounting records.
