Summary
The May 2011 Beacon reports discussion of a specialist repair for three municipal septic-system tanks. The June issue reports that the St. James Board approved moving forward with the $59,867 contractor bid; interest over ten years would bring the total to $74,775, paid in forty quarterly installments of about $1,870. The July issue reports that repairs were underway, with fees scheduled to rise to $24 per unit per month and quarterly payments beginning in September.
Evidence limits
The July account still does not confirm completed repairs, final costs, or a later engineering finding.
