Summary
The Beaver Island Safety and Health Advisory Committee was established by St. James Township in November 2022. The establishing record names representation from St. James and Peaine Townships, the Fire Department, EMS, the Beaver Island Health Center, air evacuation, the Sheriff, and an elder community member. In March 2023, St. James approved an updated Committee charter and authorized the Clerk to sign it.
Evidence and limits
The held minutes establish the Committee’s creation, the listed representation, and later approval of an updated charter. They do not supply the charter text, complete named membership, a meeting record, a decision, legal powers, funding, or a health- or safety-service outcome.
