Summary

Kathy Speck is named as the announced director of both children’s and adult choruses for Baroque on Beaver in 2004, and as planned director of the Beaver Island Cantata Choir and additional vocalists in 2005.12

Identity limit

A 2010 newspaper report identifies a Kathy Speck as Chamber President. The name may refer to the same person, but the held sources do not establish that identity bridge, so this article does not combine the Chamber role with the musical appointments as a single biographical assertion.3

Open questions

  • Can final programs confirm Speck’s conducting roles and chorus membership?
  • What source, if any, establishes whether the 2010 Chamber president and music director are the same Kathy Speck?
